It is also known as General Thyristor and Rectifier. Blocking diode prevents battery banks from getting drained by Solar Panels and wind driven that are not actively generating power (ie. Night time & No Wind) by stopping Reverse Current. Follow the picture above, connect the stud of the Blocking Diode to the Positive (Red) cable of your DC Sources (DC wind driven OR Solar Panel). Connect the Lug from the Blocking Diode to the battery. Fuse and Heat Sink are optional but may be installed as deemed necessary.1-2cm error might exist due to manual measurements, please kindly understand. The colors deviation might differ due to different monitor settings.
